Butler County Community College expanded off-campus offerings to Mercer County in 1996 providing community college educational opportunities to the residents of Mercer County. This partnership includes locations at LindenPointe and Hickory High School. Credit and non-credit classes are currently available at both of these locations in the evenings.

Fitness - BC3 @ LindenPointe
Fitness Classes Starting Soon! Zumba Fitness, Latin Dancing for Everyone, and Beginning Yoga!
Beginning Yoga- Work on basic Yoga stretches and postures in this slow paced class. You will discover the fundamentals of breathing, and relaxation techniques, as well as correct alignment of the poses. This class is perfect for the beginner, if you have been away from Yoga for a while, or if you are looking for a more gentle practice. Please bring your Yoga mat, 2 blocks and a blanket. Limit 12 students per class.

Zumba Fitness- Zumba fitness is exercise to international dance music. We will exercise to Latin rhythms including merengue, salsa, reggae ton and cumbia. It is a party! Come and join us! Participants should bring a closed-lid water bottle, towel and dance sneakers. Enrollment is limited to 25 students.

Latin Dancing for Everyone-Dancing for all ages and skill levels. Put a little SALSA in your life! Taught by experienced Latin dance instructor. You will be the envy of the dance floor as you dance the Merengue, Salsa, Reggaeton, and Samba! Participants should wear comfortable shoes, bring a closed-lid water bottle, and be prepared to have fun. Enrollment is limited to 25 students.

Certified Pharmacy Technician Training
This program can be your entry into a new, exciting professional career. You will receive an education in pharmacy administration, compounding and dispensing procedures, drug classifications, pharmacy math, medical terms, abbreviations and symbols, IV admixture procedures, pharmacy law and legal aspects and more. Registration Begins in August 2010. Class Begins September 2010. Call for more information.
Over 50 credit and non-credit courses are offered throughout various locations in Mercer County each semester. Day and evening classes make attending BC3 in Mercer County convenient and accessible. Students are able to register for classes and obtain information from the office at LindenPointe.
In addition, at BC3 @LindenPointe offers other services such as; admissions, academic advising, placement testing, and student services needs.
Center at the LindenPointe
BC3 @ LindenPointe in Hermitage, PA has been serving the community for more than four years. The college is located in the LindenPointe Business Complex. LindenPointe was opened as part of a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Community and Economic Development. The LindenPointe site offers courses in General Studies, Business Management, Business Administration, and Psychology.
In accordance with BC3's mission and goals, LindenPointe provides activities and programs responsive to the needs of the students and community. Non-credit computer training and workshops open to the public, as well as business and industry training. The students can also participate in the official BC3@LindenPointe Book Club, seasonal parties, activities and picnics.
