Children's Creative Learning Center

Welcome To CCLC

At CCLC we provides quality care and education for children of BC3 students/parents and employees at a reasonable cost.

The center serves as a resource to academic programs on campus, which include the Nursing Program and Early Childhood Development Program.

CCLC will be moving to the old bookstore for the fall.

Hours Of Operation

Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 7:45am - 4:45pm, and Tuesday, Thursday from 7:45am - 4:00pm. The Kindergarten Program is from 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM

Enrollment

Enrollment in the Center is available to children ages 3 - 6 years.

Purposes & Goals

Purposes

  • To provide quality care giving activities for children who are enrolled in the Children's Creative Learning Center.
  • To provide age appropriate activities for children who are enrolled in the Children's Creative Learning Center.
  • To provide students in the field of Nursing and Early Childhood Education with experiences interacting with preschool age children through practicum assignments.

Goals

  • To provide a safe and healthy environment for the children served.
  • To encourage the development of a positive self-image and foster independence in each child enrolled in the Children's Creative Learning Center. We seek to encourage respect for self as well as for others - understanding that one must first have self-respect before she/he is able to respect others.
  • To help the child form positive relationships with adults.
  • To help the child develop good health habits.
  • To promote healthy growth and development of physical, social, emotional and cognitive skills in the children enrolled in the program.
  • To enhance the care giving abilities of practicum students and afford them an opportunity to learn through hands-on experience in our program.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

State License

CCLC is a non-profit organization licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Department of Public Welfare.

According to licensing regulations, the Center may accommodate a maximum of 38 children. Enrollment in the Center is available to children ages 3 - 6 years.
