Sean Carroll

Director of BC3 @ Lawrence Crossing

Biography

My name is Sean Carroll and in addition to being the Director of BC3 @ Lawrence Crossing, I am also an adjunct history instructor at the college.

I am a 1990 graduate of Center High School in Monaca, PA. Upon graduation, I went to Geneva College where I received a bachelor’s degree in political science/history and played baseball. Following Geneva, I attended the University of Connecticut where I received a master’s degree in education.

I started at BC3 in February of 2000 as the Assistant Director of Student Life. I became the Associate Director of Admissions in 2004 and held that position until November of 2014. I was also the Coordinator of High School Programming from November 2014 until June 2016. I have taught every semester (either HIST 201 or HIST 202) since the spring semester of 2000.

I am married with 2 children and I reside in Brighton Twp. I enjoy reading, jogging and following the Steelers, Penguins and Pirates.  I am proud that my daughter completed 60 credits at BC3 and is now a junior at RMU and that my son will be enrolling full time at BC3 in August 2016.
