Ms. Esplen has completed a 20-year teaching and clinical career by having begun her journey working as a physical therapist assistant (PTA) and by later attaining her goal of becoming a teacher of physical therapist assistants. Ms. Esplen is an experienced speaker and has held various leadership positions throughout the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), including national and chapter elected positions and district committees over the past 20 years. Teaching students goal planning by expanding upon current skills, mentoring, and volunteering are her passions.
