What's going on:  

  • On Novermber 17, stop in the Financial Aid Office for more information on the new way you will receiveyour spring financial aid refund, and enjoy some doughnuts and coffee compliments of the Financial Aid Office staff.
  • Email - Beginning Spring 2009, The Financial Aid Office will be sending correspondence via MyBC3 email.
    • Create  a "mybc3" e-mail account (Directions).
    • Check it on a regular basis.
  • Disbursements-for Spring 2009
    • Processing of you Financial aid takes 4-6 weeks.  To ensure your financial aid is ready to be disbursed the 2nd week of class, your FAFSA and all documentation must be complete and submitted to our office by November 15.
    • All Stafford Loans for first time borrowers are disbursed 30 days after the start of the semester.
    • All PHEAA State Grants are disbursed by the semester mid-term.
  • Bills:  Tuition is due for the Spring 2009 semester December 12.
    • If you have Financial Aid "in process" your schedule will be held without payment until financial aid is applied to your account. 
    • It is your respnsiblity to keep track of and pay any remaining tuition balance after financial aid is applied.

In Summer 2009, the Financial Aid Office will be relocating to the new Student Success Center.  In order to prevent any delays in your 2009-10 Financial Aid, be sure to submit your FAFSA and all paperwork to our office as soon as you complete your 2008 federal taxes.

Hey, we've all been there.  Every employee in the Financial Aid Office was and/or is a student.  We have all played the balancing act of research papers, family life, and finances.  Our goal is to use our own experiences to offer the best services to you...our students.
