Arts & Hospitality Building


One of the 4 original buildings at BC3, built by ARMCO in summer of 1966. The Arts and Hospitality Building houses these programs:

Business and Health Professions


The Business and Health Professions Building houses: IT Services, Business Division, Business Learning Center, Computer Information Systems, Nursing and Allied Health, Physical Therapist Assistant, Massage Therapy, and Park and Recreation Management (PRM).


Children's Creative Learning Center


The Children's Creative Learning Center Houses preschool, daycare and a private Kindergarten for children of students, faculty and staff The CCLC received a four star designation from Keystone Stars .



Continuing Education Building


The Continuing Education Building houses:

  • Adult Literacy,
  • Lifelong Learning Courses,
  • Workforce Development,
  • Business and Industry Training,
  • Professional Education and Certificate Programs

Founder's Hall


Originally known as The Convocation Center, Founders Hall houses the Pioneer Café, Founders Hall, Office of Student Life, and a Student Lounge.


Rented throughout the year by community groups including, Butler Vo-Tech, Butler High School Prom, United Way, Heart Association, and Butler Chamber of Commerce Events.

Field House


The Field House houses BC3 Athletics including,

Additionally the Field House is home to, Intramural Sports, Health Science and Wellness courses, and the BC3 Recreation Center.

John A. Beck Jr. Library


The John A. Beck Jr. Library opened in 1973 and was a gift of the John A. Beck Jr. Family, who was on the original College Board of Trustees

The John A. Beck Library houses:

  • Multimedia Technology Equipment
  • BC3 Archives

Public Safety Training Center


Houses: Fire, EMS, Police, and HAZMAT

BC3 manages in cooperation with the Butler County Fire Chiefs Association this regional training center.


It contains a burn building, a fire training tower, a 4-acre pond , classrooms, 3 fire trucks, propane fire station, confined space training area, a tanker truck and a railroad car. Public Safety website


BC3 trains over 10,000 first responders annually.

Shipping and Receiving Building


BC3's mail distribution center, the Shipping and Receiving Building is housed in the original club house of the former Oak Hills Golf Club circa 1960's.

Opened in September 2009, Student Success Center is a one stop shop for student services and houses:


Social Sciences Building


The Social Sciences Building houses,



Succop Theater


A gift given by Thomas and JoAnn Succop the Succop Theater was built in 2002 and features:

  • 460-seat professional theater
  • AK Steel Lobby and Mary Hulton Phillips Art Gallery
  • Annual Performing Arts Series
  • The Butler County Home of the Pittsburgh Philharmonic and the Butler Musical Theater Guild



Science & Technology Building


Opened in 2002, the Science and Technology Building was partially funded by BC3's first capital campaign through the BC3 Education Foundation.


The Science and Technology Building houses: Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, Physics, Mathematics, Metrology, Electronics, Nanofabrication, Manufacturing, Robotics, Computer Aided Drafting and Design, Architecture, Faculty Offices and Faculty Lounge.
