Hitters, hurler and coach earn accolades

Amber Izzo’s .920 batting average led not only the Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference, but players on all 55 teams in the National Junior College Athletic Association’s Division III. Izzo’s nation-best batting average was followed by that of BC3’s Abby Black, second, and of Casey Kretzer, third. They, pitcher Sydney Natili and coach Dan Beebe were recognized for their success.
