10/07/2025 03:53:05 PMBreast-cancer survivor establishes “Project Pink” award to aid others(Greenville, PA) A Butler County Community College faculty member from Greenville and breast-cancer survivor says she will match dollar-for-dollar community contributions up to a total of $500 by Oct. 31 to fund a BC3 Education Foundation scholarship she has established to support a BC3 student who survived or who helped a loved one to battle the disease.Melissa Philson, of Greenville, a faculty member in Butler County Community College’s education and behavioral sciences division, was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 44 in 2017.
