This program prepares the student for an entry-level position in the pre-hospital and clinical health care environments.
Along with the Emergency Medical Technician Certification course, this degree program offers courses in business, management, accounting, computer science, and communications. These additional skill sets, outside of the practitioner certification, prepare students to pursue opportunities in supervisory and management roles. Employment opportunities can include hospital emergency departments, ambulance services, and similar positions.
