(Butler, PA) The Butler County Community College men’s basketball team has scored the most points in consecutive games in at least 10 seasons with 230 and moved to 2-0 on Tuesday night with a 114-108 victory against Owens Community College, Perrysburg, Ohio.

Nick DelGratta scored 21 points, Ashton Neely 19 and Kadjali Biola 17 in a victory in BC3’s Field House that followed the Pioneers defeating Bryant & Stratton College 116-103 on Nov. 3 in Youngstown.

The last time the program scored at least 100 points in consecutive games was in February 2019, when BC3 topped Pennsylvania Highlands Community College, Johnstown, 100-97, then Pitt-Titusville 113-93.

Ivan Zhivkov and Cameron Lawrence added 14 points each for BC3 against Owens Community College, and Phillip Muhammad and Evan Bates 10 each.

Neely had five of BC3’s 21 steals and Biola four. Daveon Hall and Lawrence each had five of the Pioneers’ 34 rebounds. 

Owens Community College fell to 2-2.

DelGratta is a 6-foot-7 forward from Struthers, Ohio; Neely, a 6-0 guard from Altoona; Biola, a 6-3 forward from New Caledonia in the South Pacific; Zhivkov, a 6-1 guard from Ruse, Bulgaria; Lawrence, a 5-11 guard from Youngstown, Ohio; Muhammad, a 5-7 point guard from Detroit; Bates, a 6-3 guard from Youngstown; and Hall, a 6-3 guard from Pontiac, Mich.

BC3’s roster includes Jack Bosa, a 6-7 forward-center from Kampala, Uganda; Noah Will, a 5-11 guard from Foxburg; Elijah Saeler, a 6-2 guard from Tampa, Fla.; Da’Shaun Will, a 5-10 guard from Youngstown; Marco Miller, a 6-1 guard from Hermitage; Jared Colon, a 5-5 guard from Campbell, Ohio; Michael Lidge, a 6-1 guard from Bradenton, Fla.; and Teyon Harris, a 6-3 center-forward from Campbell, Ohio; and Sway Rodriguez, a 6-0 guard from Campbell, Ohio.

The Pioneers visit Lorain County Community College, Elyria, Ohio, at 7 p.m. Thursday.
