EMR Training - Traditional Delivery
Starts August 20, 2019. Tuesday evenings @ BC3 Main Campus
Ideal for students looking to develop skills or advance a career in the healthcare industry or as a first-responder, without rigorous clinical practicums, this 68 hour course will provide entry-level emergency training in several aspects of emergency medical care that an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) is permitted to provide throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and follows the current National Education Standards for the Emergency Medical Responder. Starts July 31 / Next Training - Spring 2020
This 184-hour course will provide basic training in all aspects of emergency medical care that an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is permitted to provide throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This course will follow the current National Education Standard for the Emergency Medical Technician. Tuition covers EMS Testing, BLS Certification Material and E-Card, Hazmat Awareness and LC Ready NREMT Test Prep Program.

The Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) program will provide the student with knowledge and skills of advanced patient assessment and treatment of the sick and injured persons in the community. This program will combine many disciplines of learning including, classroom, internet, simulation and clinical aspects of education to provide the student with many opportunities to excel within the program and the community. This course will include all aspects of emergency medical care that an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) is permitted to provide throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and will follow the current National Education Standards for the Advanced Emergency Medical Technician. Prerequisites:Current EMT Certification in good standing with the state.
BC3 EMS Training Programs are accredited by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services.

American Heart Association (AHA) Training
BC3 is a CPR/AED & First Aid training center for the American Heart Association. We offer certification training for healthcare professionals as well as community members.
These advanced classes are for healthcare professionals, providers and emergency responders whose fields require AHA/BLS Certification. Heartcode - Blended Learning, are essentially what we call Hybrid courses. The Heartcode classes and Skill Labs result in the same certification card for the same two year period as our on-site certifications, the Classes are Online, the Skill Labs are in-person with an instructor on site.
We can do any of these classes as open enrollment or contract training including at their location. While some companies may be more opt to do CPR training truly any company could provide this valuable training to their employees.
