The Presidential Scholars Program is designed for high-achieving students from Butler County public high schools who are ready to take their college experience to the next level.
If you’re graduating in the top 10% of your high school class, you may be eligible for a full-tuition scholarship through the BC3 Education Foundation.
What you’ll get as a Presidential Scholar
- Full-tuition scholarship (you’ll still be responsible for fees)
- Exclusive honors-level courses
- A faculty-mentored research project
- Priority registration for your classes
- Access to invitation-only events and field trips
- Seamless transfer into many four-year honors programs
All scholars complete three dedicated honors courses:

Presidential Scholars Seminar
Prepares you for the academic and social expectations of college. -
Scholars Project Preparation
Learn advanced research and presentation skills. -
Scholars Capstone Project
Explore a topic you care about through in-depth research, guided by a faculty or industry mentor.
You’re eligible if you:

Are a Butler County resident

Graduate from a Butler County public high school

Finish in the top 10% of your class

Enroll at BC3 starting fall semester immediately after graduation
