Challenge yourself. Earn a full-tuition scholarship. Start strong at BC3. 

The Presidential Scholars Program is designed for high-achieving students from Butler County public high schools who are ready to take their college experience to the next level.

If you’re graduating in the top 10% of your high school class, you may be eligible for a full-tuition scholarship through the BC3 Education Foundation.

What you’ll get as a Presidential Scholar

  • Full-tuition scholarship (you’ll still be responsible for fees)
  • Exclusive honors-level courses
  • A faculty-mentored research project
  • Priority registration for your classes
  • Access to invitation-only events and field trips
  • Seamless transfer into many four-year honors programs

All scholars complete three dedicated honors courses:

  1. Presidential Scholars Seminar
    Prepares you for the academic and social expectations of college.

  2. Scholars Project Preparation
    Learn advanced research and presentation skills.

  3. Scholars Capstone Project
    Explore a topic you care about through in-depth research, guided by a faculty or industry mentor.

You’re eligible if you:

  • Are a Butler County resident

  • Graduate from a Butler County public high school

  • Finish in the top 10% of your class

  • Enroll at BC3 starting fall semester immediately after graduation
