BC3’s Emergency Services – Police Services Option provides the skills and credentials to launch your career in law enforcement. Through a combination of on-campus criminology courses and off-campus Act 120 Certification, this program prepares you for real-world policing, investigation, and public safety careers. 

What You'll Learn

Graduates of this program will be able to: 

  • Identify and apply principles of criminal procedure, with an emphasis on federal constitutional limitations 
  • Classify and use crime terminology aligned with the Pennsylvania Crimes Code 
  • Demonstrate crime and justice system methodology using field-specific terminology 
  • Complete ACT 120 Certification, qualifying them for municipal police employment in Pennsylvania 

Program Requirements

The degree consists of a minimum of 66 credits, including Act 120 certification training. Completion typically spans four semesters, with flexibility depending on ACT 120 availability.
