This scholarship is our way of recognizing your commitment — and helping you continue your path at BC3.

About the $500 Award

The Gary G. Griwatz Pathway to Pioneer Award is for: 

  • Current high school seniors (Class of 2026)
  • Who completed at least one BC3 dual-enrollment course
  • Who enroll at any BC3 location or online and in any academic program

Enroll for the 2026-27 academic year and receive your $500 award — $250 applied in the fall 2026 and $250 in the spring 2027.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Eligible students are automatically approved for the Pathway to Pioneer Award upon enrollment. 

Yes. Students who've earned BC3 college credit through College Within the High School, College Now, and Early College Pioneers are all eligible. 

No. There is no additional criteria beyond eligibility. 

Yes. Students who receieve the award can still apply for additional types of financial aid, including scholarships
