If you love massage therapy and want to move into leadership—owning or managing a spa, salon, or wellness practice—this program blends hands-on technique with business, marketing, and management skills. You’ll build on your certification or massage foundation, gain management tools, and be prepared to run and lead in the massage industry. 

Notes:

  • Must hold or earn High School diploma/GED. 
  • High School Biology, or BIOL 116, or BIOL 101 with a “C” within the last 10 years is required. 
  • Massage therapy coursework is sequence dependent. 
  • Students must be certified in CPR (American Heart Association Basic Life Support or equivalent).

Program Requirements

This degree requires 63 credits, typically completed over four semesters. You need either NCBTMB certification or completion of a qualifying massage therapy program. Courses must be taken in sequence. Foundational science, massage technique, business, marketing, and management are all part of the curriculum.
