BC3’s Practical Nursing Certificate Program is a three-semester, clinically focused program designed to prepare you for immediate entry into the nursing profession. With classroom instruction and hands-on clinical experiences, you’ll learn to deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care in a variety of health care settings.

Graduates of this program are eligible to take the NCLEX-PN, the national licensing exam for Licensed Practical Nurses.

Note: A chemistry course with lab completed within the last 5 years is required before applying. Students without this should complete CHEM 100: Descriptive Chemistry first.

Program Overview

This program consists of 48 total credits over three semesters, and includes focused nursing and pharmacology courses alongside general education requirements in psychology, anatomy, and English.

Clinical hours begin early in the program and grow in intensity each semester to ensure hands-on readiness.
