Preferred Training Partnership

Butler County Community College is proud to offer our Preferred Training Partnership (PTP) for the Emergency Service agencies of Western Pennsylvania.

Butler County Community College (BC3) is proud to Continue with our Preferred Training Partnership (PTP) for the Emergency Service agencies of Western Pennsylvania for 2023. Unfortunately due to cost increases we need to re adjust our preferred partnership delivery model.

This is a pay as you go program. Fees will be charged according to BC3 fees chart .  PTP partners only pay course fees for what they use up to a maximum of $2000 for 250 hours of training for individual fire departments, and $4000 for 500 hours of training for city and county-based organizations. Anything over the package hours, you start paying the class at cost.

Simply fill out the enclosed application and mail it into BC3.  We will track your hours so when you reach your max hours, the hour timer starts over. You can either pay as you go at this point or pay an additional $2000 for another 250 hours. You will also be able to purchase multiple blocks at a time so if you preplanned to know the number of hours you need you can purchase enough blocks up front. To renew your partnership, at the end of calendar year, fill out contract with any updated contacts, then notification can be by US mail, fax or email.

BC3 takes pride in serving the many thousands of students we have in programs each year.  It is our mission to provide the first responders of Pennsylvania with quality inexpensive training and certification.  We also know that you want the training in your stations on dates and times that works with your membership’s schedules.

If you have questions about the Preferred Training Partnership, please contact Coordinator of Fire/Hazmat Programs Kevin Smith, at kevin.smith@bc3.edu or 724-287-8711 Ex 8354.
