One-Year Costs and Grants: 2024-2025

With the help of financial aid and careful planning, you can earn your associate degree or certificate and graduate debt-free. Here's how:

Butler County Residents
  • BC3 Tuition and Fees = $5,610
  • Maximum Federal Pell Grant = $7,395
  • Maximum Pennsylvania State Grant = $3,058
Out-of-County Residents
  • BC3 Tuition and Fees = $8,700
  • Maximum Federal Pell Grant = $7,395
  • Maximum Pennsylvania State Grant = $4,894

Other Options

Presidential Scholars

  •  If you are a Butler County resident graduating from a Butler County Public High School and ranked in the top 10% of your high school class and attend BC3 as a full time student, you may be eligible for the President’s Scholars Program to receive in-county tuition up to 18 credits at BC3. Other financial aid may cover the cost of fees, books and supplies.

KEYS Program

  • BC3 offers the KEYS program which is in place to assist those who receive public assistance to go to college.  This program may help with educational expenses such as books and transportation costs.

Scholarships

  •  Each year BC3 awards over 150 scholarships to students who are registered and complete the BC3 scholarship application by July 1. Last year, BC3 scholarships totaled over $215,000.
